The air outside was hot and dry. It was the middle of July in Colorado, which meant that trying to stay cool was a next to impossible feat. I was upstairs in my office, still in my black slacks and white button down shirt from work, sitting at my desk, with a fan pointed directly at my face. The breeze was almost warm but it still felt better than the stifling heat that was outside. I was trying to focus on getting some last minute work done, but the heat was too intense.
