The Way of War Part 4 I showered and dressed in my new Majors Uniform. I looked in my mirror and I thought I looked rather dashing. I walked out to meet the waiting Cpl. I got in to the jeep. Unlike most of my drivers of late this one never shut up. We pulled up to a building … 98th Field Artillery Battalion Are you sure this is the right place he nodded and I got out. The Existence – Chapter 2

Here is the second chapter to complete the opening of the series. I broke it into two parts because I didn’t have the whole thing planned out. I write the stories as they come to me and hope that those who read them enjoy the tale I spin. TY again for taking the time to read my stories. For those who are following Modern Mage; I am working on the next chapter but felt that I should introduce this place before continuing that tale. Being that they walked in here I knew they were meant to find the place or had been brought by someone else who had been here before. The fact that they sat at my table with impunity told me that they knew the rules of the place and chose to display …

The War to Change (The Mission 7)

Charles held Alatem close after she’d begun to thrash in her sleep calling his name. She awoke with a start grabbing him holding him close and tight as If his and her lives both depended on it. Sighing she fell back to asleep after making Charles promise that he’d never leave her. Charles laid there awake for a while thinking about his rescue of Ally, it had seemed too easy. As quietly as he could he turned to his wrist com, “cici analyze tonight’s exercise, something is bothering me about the whole thing.” “Compliance, anything I should look for in particular?” cici queried. “Yes, check for transmissions on secure channels, withdrawing of guards, doors left open and unlocked that normally wouldn’t,” Charles commanded. “Analyzing, shall I awake you when I have results?” cici stated. “Yes, …

The Ten of Them. Chapter 26

In our last chapter we dealt with the situation with Cindy’s Mom, Sylvia was serving the last six months of her jail term. Sylvia rushed to the emergency room and hospitalized after she nearly died in front of JJ and Kara. During her initial evaluation, her diagnosis was brain cancer requiring emergency surgery. Uncle George helped get her released early for medical treatment and her good behavior. Storyteller’s notes: I need to warn you, this is another chapter that deals with death and more importantly the death of a loved one. I have tried not to make it to graphic, and deal more with emotional side of this story. This is a real emotional chapter, but I feel it advanced and enriched the overall story. It shows that JJ is not always the hero, and …

A Chance Encounter Part IV

Chance Encounter Part IV Later that Morning around 1030 AM Marie rolled over, and cuddled against the warmth she felt, when she opened her eyes and saw Jer, She was a little startled. Then she remembered where she was and what they had done most of the night, and smiled. Getting up she went into the bathroom, locking the door behind her; she needed a little time to herself right now. Going over to the sink she brushed her hair, and after that brushed her teeth. When she was done she looked in the mirror and put her hand on her stomach. She really didn’t regret anything that happened last night, and if she was pregnant, she knew the baby would have two parents that would love and cherish it, more than anything in the …

Chauffeur_(1)

After six years in the Army with three tours of combat, I got out. I had close to a quarter million saved but what got me going was a former commander. Besides two bronze stars and a silver star, I had two purple hearts, the second was why I left the military. Colonel Harris got me into a special defensive driving course and helped me get a Chauffeur’s license. I had been driving for young miss Penelope, a six year old girl from a rich family. I also drove for her mother Megan who was a stunning woman. They lived on a huge estate with their grandfather. I had a small apartment above the garage and kept mostly to myself. Every evening I practiced my Ti Chi in the garage and used the estate underground …

The Way of the War pt 7

The Way of the War pt 7 Three weeks later my staff and I were at Langley. We were met by Sgt Clancy who saluted, “I see you are an officer again. How long this time.” I returned the salute and shook his hand , “Good to see you too.” We both laughed.. I introduced my staff and told them if ever they were in need to contact Clancy he had the Colonel’s ear. I looked at him and asked, “you are still attached to Colonel Thomas… aren’t you? “ He nodded and said, ”That is where we are going. Get in please.” We arrived at a Quonset Hut on the edge of the airfield. We got out of the Jeep as the door was opening. A booming voice, “Get in here I am tired …

We open as the scene unfolds within the Fallen Oak Inn. Magical Hearts chapter 13 The Elven King still had not moved remaining on his knee. Chinaman’s Chance

My name is Jennifer Yang. I was your typical Asian-American princess born and raised in southern California. I was attending UCLA majoring in business, intent on professional success and marrying well. But then I fell in with a bad crowd (according to my parents) and everything changed. They were Hollywood types; stuntmen to be specific. A stuntman stands in for the actor when the script calls for a risky or dangerous action: fights, falls, car crashes, the whole bit. They taught me a lot and helped me get my first jobs, which qualified me for my SAG-AFTRA card. My years of ballet, gymnastics and martial arts lessons were paying off. I had excellent balance and I was unafraid of heights. Also I was stage struck. I guess I’d always had a secret hankering for show …

I’m expecting a beautiful baby girl, all before I turn fifteen.” With a smile I say, “The day I met you, was one of the best days in my life. Your Dad even told me you were getting a crush on me. I think my heart skipped a beat. At first I thought it was because I was afraid I might hurt you, I already knew I did not ever want to do that. I now know it was …

The Way of the War

The way of the War I grew up in a small Southeast Texas town, my Father worked in the oil fields. The year is 1930 and we lived rent free in a village of tents. They had build a wooden floor about 8” above the ground then the tents were raised upon them. The tents were 8′ x 12′ not to large but we were blessed I was an only child at that time, my sisters came later. We were blessed because other families had 4 and sometime 5 kids. Most slept outside on the ground unless it was raining. Some were more privileged and had a tarp to cover them. I also slept out side not because I had too but because I preferred the outdoors. Oh I forgot to mention I am 7 …

Gray Jedi Ch. 1

Greetings, readers! I had so much fun writing my recent Star Wars story, “Of Scavengers and Smugglers,” that I decided to start up another. This one I plan to be a longer-running series. Just how long, I’m not certain yet. At least as long as ideas keep flowing, I suppose. Anyway, this story starts with the immediate aftermath of Anakin Skywalker’s betrayal in Episode III before exploring the Age of the Empire. It does contain erotic scenes, but is rather slow to get to them. Plot and action sequences will take precedent in this story. For example, the first sex scene does not appear until chapter two. If that is not your cup of tea for a Star Wars fan fiction story, my feelings will not be hurt. All the same, I do hope you …

Gray Jedi Ch. 9

Gray Jedi Ch. 9 The group made their way with care through a series of back alleys, heading towards one of Coruscant’s seedier entertainment districts. Rex was on guard and nervous the entire time with their traveling companions, but Malik and Serra seemed to know and trust these two. Still, he remained cautious; it’s what keeps a good soldier alive, after all. Soon, they arrived at a door that appeared to be the rear exit to an establishment of some sort. Jax stepped up to the door and knocked in a specific pattern. A moment later, a tiny window slid open in the door. “Password?” came a rough voice. “Coruscant has lovely sunsets,” Jax replied. With a hiss, the door slid open, revealing a large, fat Besalisk. “Jax, ya made it back I see.” “Good …

Modern Mage – Chapter 10

Shorter Chapter this time through, but what is accomplished here is important to the future of our tale. I call it our tale because if no one were to read it, it would just be a collection of words in cyberspace. I hope you enjoy. There may be a slightly longer time between this posting and the next, we’ll see how the story flows from my head into type. Thanks for the Feedback and PMs letting me know what you think of the story. Being shot sucks, I know that sounds obvious but it isn’t any less true because of that. This was the third time I’ve been shot in five years. You know of two of them and I’m not willing to discuss the third incident right now. I felt the pain in my …
