The rich at play
I had moved into an apartment with a friend from work, who knew that in the real world money doesn’t go as far as it does when you live at home? I live in a place called Little Village on the South side of Chicago with my Mother, Father, three younger brothers and two younger sisters and grandpa in the basement. My parents were good Mexican Catholics,who took there job of populating the world with Catholic children seriously, even if it meant we only ate two meals a day, wore used donated clothes and lined up for food parcels at Christmas, Easter and for our picnic on the Fourth of July.
