Fever Dreams
I couldn’t sleep, it was hot in my room, so I opened up my window. That’s when I saw the boy next door, in his back yard… Now, when I say “Boy,” I mean he was older. A teenager, and I saw him in the yard all the time. That night, what caught my eye was he had a pair of binoculars, and his pants fell down. Since my window was already open, and it was cooler outside, I decided to go out on the little roof. I had a gable window, on the side of the roof.
