A New Friend and She Might Be the One
I’d always been picked on for my size, topping out at 5’5″ on the dot at my tallest I was always the smallest throughout my school life. Ever since I started my second year of middle school the bullying began. I was a pretty decent goalie in soccer, played decent basketball despite being the shortest in the team, and had even taken up skateboarding during the weekends. I gradually lost interest in these as my interest in writing and English grew. I’d spend less time outside playing games in my spare time and instead spend it hunched over a piece of paper with a pencil. I finally ended up dropping all of my sports after my first year.
